GLP-1 medications and your healthcare provider

GLP-1 receptor agonist medications (such as semaglutide, tirzepatide, and others) are prescription drugs that must be managed in consultation with a licensed healthcare provider. Tidewell does not prescribe, adjust, or recommend dosing for any medication. Any questions about your medication — including dose changes, side effects, missed injections, or stopping treatment — must be directed to your prescribing provider or pharmacist.

Patterns are not diagnoses

Tidewell helps you notice patterns in how you feel over time. These observations are personal data points — they are not clinical measurements, diagnostic outputs, or medical findings. A change in a trend or a pattern you observe in Tidewell is not a diagnosis and should not be treated as one. If you are concerned about a symptom, trend, or change in how you feel, consult a healthcare professional.

Apple Health data

When you grant Tidewell access to Apple Health (HealthKit), data such as steps, sleep, and heart rate may be displayed within the app to add context to your check-ins. These readings are sourced from your device sensors or connected apps and are not clinical measurements. They should not be used to make medical decisions without professional guidance.

No warranties on health outcomes

We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees — express or implied — that using Tidewell will produce any specific health outcome, weight loss result, or improvement in your wellbeing. Individual results vary. Tidewell is a tool to support self-awareness, not a programme for medical intervention.
